1. International Transfer Conditions
Overview
Transferring money internationally involves specific limitations and legal considerations. Each country, financial institution, and transfer method is subject to its own set of regulations. Therefore, transferring funds from The Bahamas may differ significantly from sending funds to Canada, the United States, or other countries.
Transfer Limits
Under the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) Act, all transactions above 10,000 BSD from The Bahamas must be processed through our online banking platform, and require the creation of a verified personal account.
Required Documentation (for transactions of 10,000 BSD and above):

Reason for remittance

Tax File Number (TFN) or Social Security Number (SSN)

Bank account verification
Additional Requirements for Business Transfers:

International Transfer Channels
Transfers via Andrews Plaza Bank may be processed through the SWIFT network, and may incur the following charges:

Outgoing fee

Intermediary bank charges

Currency exchange rate differentials

2. Online Transfer Rules (Bahamas)
In compliance with Bahamian law:

Transfers exceeding 10,000 BSD must be reported to BTRAC within 10 days of the transaction.

Submission of International Funds Transfer Instructions (IFTI) or Money Order Certificate (MOC) is required.

All inbound transfers exceeding 10,000 BSD may be subject to taxation.
3. Transfer Limits with Andrews Plaza Bank
The maximum daily international transfer limit from The Bahamas via Andrews Plaza Bank is 2,000,000 BSD, depending on transaction type, destination, and transfer history. Transaction limits will be viewable upon account registration.
4. Support & Assistance
